Turkish-Style Lamb
Heat the broiler to high. Season the lamb steaks and broil for 2 minutes on each side until browned but still very rare.
Step 2
Mix the seasoning, oregano and half the mint into one portion of yogurt. Smother this over the lamb and return to the broiler for another 2 to 3 minutes until the yogurt is blistered and the meat is cooked to your liking.
Step 3
Leave the meat to rest on a board for a few minutes. Meanwhile, toast the pitta, shred the lettuce and thinly slice the red onion.
Step 4
Stir the remaining mint into the second portion of yogurt. Thickly slice the lamb and stuff into the pitta with the lettuce, red onion and minted yogurt. Squeeze over lemon juice to serve.
