Torta de Fiambre (Ham & Cheese Savory Cake)
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line the base of a 20–22cm springform pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang as the batter is very liquid.
Step 2
Grate the cheese and prepare the ham slices.
Step 3
Mix together the eggs, oil, milk, flour, baking powder, salt and oregano in a large bowl for 1–2 minutes until combined.
Step 4
Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Lay the ham and cheese on top, then pour the remaining batter over.
Step 5
Bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden. Leave for a few minutes before releasing from the pan. Serve hot or cold with fresh herbs.
