Shawarma Chuck Roast Wrap
Combine all the spices, beef stock and lemon juice in a Dutch oven or slow cooker. Stir to mix.
Step 2
Add the chuck roast and turn to coat. Spoon some sauce over the top.
Step 3
Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours until the beef is completely tender and shreds easily.
Step 4
Remove the beef and shred with two forks, discarding any excess fat. Skim fat from the top of the cooking liquid.
Step 5
Return the shredded beef to the sauce and stir to combine. Keep warm.
Step 6
Spread garlic sauce on each pita, top with the shredded beef and any garnishes. Fold burrito-style and toast on a hot grill pan until lightly charred.
