Ingredients

  • 1 1/8 lbGreek yogurt, full-fat, strained
  • 2 ozwalnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cuphoney, thyme honey if you can find it
  • 2 ozdried figs, stems removed, torn
  • 1/2 tspground cinnamon

Method

  1. 1

Put the walnuts in a dry frying pan over medium heat and shake them about until they smell nutty and have darkened a shade. Tip them straight onto a plate.

  2. 2

Divide the yogurt between four bowls and flatten the surface with the back of the spoon, leaving a shallow well in the middle.

  3. 3

Scatter the torn figs and the toasted walnuts over the yogurt while the nuts are still warm.

  4. 4

Pour the honey over in a slow spiral so it pools in the well, then dust the whole thing with cinnamon.
