Fry the finely chopped onions and ground beef in the oil until the meat is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Grease a round baking sheet. Lay down a sheet of filo pastry, then spread a thin layer of the meat filling over it. Top with another sheet of filo, brushed well with oil.
Step 3
Continue layering filling and oil-brushed filo pastry until you have five or six layers, finishing with a top layer of filo.
Step 4
Bake at 392°F for 30 minutes. Cut into quarters and serve hot.
