Step 1 of 5
Big Mac
Mix all the special sauce ingredients (mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, onion salt, garlic powder, paprika, pepper) in a bowl. Season with salt, cover, and refrigerate until ready.
Step 2
Carefully slice each bun into three horizontal layers (bottom, middle, top). Lightly toast all layers.
Step 3
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 balls of about ⅓ cup each. Place each on a square of baking paper and flatten into thin 15 cm circles.
Step 4
Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Cook the patties in 2 batches for 1–2 minutes per side until lightly charred and cooked through. Keep warm.
Step 5
Assemble: spread special sauce on the bottom layer, top with onion, shredded lettuce, cheese, a beef patty, and pickles. Add the middle bun layer, then more sauce, onion, lettuce, pickles, and the second patty. Finish with more sauce and the top bun.
